AEO types and benefits

Authorized Economic Operator / AEO type C - Simplified procedures

The certificate authorized economic operator - simplified procedures shall be issued to any economic operator established in the Community who fulfills the criteria of customs compliance, appropriate record-keeping standards and solvency in Articles 14h, 14i and 14j of Commission Regulation (EC) no. 1875/2006).

The holder of an AEO certificate type C is entitled to:

  • easier access to the simplified procedure under Article 14b, paragraph 1 IPCC
  • fewer physical and documentary checks
  • priority treatment of consignments if selected to control
  • opportunity to request a specific place for such a control
  • possibility of abandoning the security of import payments in certain cases:
  • free movement of the end-use (Article 293 paragraph. 1 point. e) IPCC, except compulsory import security payments under § 87. 2 customs law
  • customs warehousing procedure (Art. 88 CC), with the exception of mandatory security under § 87. 2 customs law
  • inward processing suspension system (Art. 88 CC) in addition to the statutory provision as defined in § 87. 2 customs law
  • processing under customs control (Article 88 CC) in addition to the statutory provision as defined in § 87. 2 customs law
  • temporary importation with total relief from import duties (Article 581 paragraph. VNCK 1) in accordance with Annex 77 IPCC
  • for temporary storage of goods (Article 51 paragraph. 2 CC) in addition to the mandatory security within the meaning of § 87. 2 customs law
  • exemption of personal property (Article 15 paragraph. 1 Council Regulation / EC / no. 1186/2009 setting up a Community system of reliefs from customs duty (hereinafter "Regulation no. 1186/2009") within the meaning of Art. paragraph 10. 3 of Regulation. 1186/2009, except for mandatory security within the meaning of Art. paragraph 9. 1 of Regulation no. 1186/2009

 

Authorized Economic Operator / AEO Type S - Safety and Security

Certified by an approved operator - safety and protection will be issued to any economic operator established in the Community who fulfills the criteria of customs compliance, proper accounting standards, financial solvency, and maintains standards for safety and protection under Article 14h to 14k Commission Regulation (EC) no. 1875/2006).

The holder of an AEO certificate type S is entitled to:

  • possibility of a preliminary declaration, as referred to in Article 14b paragraph 2 IPCC
  • limited set of data in the summary declaration, as stated in the article. 14b paragraph 3 IPCC
  • fewer physical and documentary checks
  • priority treatment of consignments if selected to control
  • opportunity to request a specific place for such a control
  • possibility of abandoning the security of import payments as specified in the type C
  • the use of economic impact before issuing a license as a customs regulations relating to the customs procedure allowing

 

Authorized Economic Operator / AEO type F (combined) - Simplified procedures and safety and

The certificate authorized economic operator simplifications / security and safety, so. combined type is issued to any economic operator established in the Community who fulfills the criteria of customs compliance, appropriate record-keeping standards, financial solvency, and maintains appropriate standards of safety and security at the same time intends to take full advantage of AEO in Articles 14h to 14k Commission Regulation (EC ) no. 1875/2006).

The holder of an AEO certificate type F is entitled to:

  • easier access to the simplified procedure under Article 14b, paragraph 1 IPCC
  • fewer physical and documentary checks
  • priority treatment of consignments if selected to control
  • opportunity to request a specific place for such a control
  • possibility of a preliminary declaration, as referred to in Article 14b paragraph 2 IPCC
  • limited set of data in the summary declaration, as stated in the article. 14b paragraph 3 IPCC
  • possibility of abandoning the security of import payments as specified in the type C
